Tae Park attended the Bak Enterprise Gala alongside Joong-Ki Bak. Upon the heard gunshots, Tae left the scene and, afterwards, followed Joong-Ki and Sun. While Sun surrendered to the police, he collected his injuried and bloodied friend. In a live news report of the shooting, the politican proclaimed his ongoing support that Sun needed to seek help for her mental illness.
